Stump Erasers BBB Business Review

STUMP ERASERS LLC IS FULLY LICENSED AND INSURED

“I can’t express how great of a job Stump Erasers did. Very professional, efficient, friendly, and excellent communication. I would recommend Stump Erasers to everyone.” - Colleen D.

Let us do the hard work for you!

Right now, we are offering our $149 pricing special. This offer is good for stumps up to 40 inches in diameter! Also, the more stumps you need removed, the better the pricing on those additional stumps.

If you have property that needs many stumps removed, we also offer half and full day service rates.

Our special $149 rate is to help the customer that has that one annoying stump but doesn’t want to pay a high “minimum price” just to have someone show up. Many companies have a minimum price of $200 or more.

“I had Stump Erasers remove dead tree roots from my lawn and other live roots from nearby trees that grow on the surface, making mowing difficult. Stump Erasers was very knowledgeable about removing the roots without affecting the tree's health. As much as I would have loved to have all the roots removed, that wasn’t what was best for the trees. I appreciated Chris's knowledge, professionalism, and honesty in doing the job right at a reasonable price.” - Nicole M.

How much is it to haul away the mulch?

Our stump removal system grinds stumps into usable mulch that you can keep, or you can have us dispose of it for you. Disposal costs are generally equal to the cost of grinding. So, if you have $200 worth of stumps ground, then for us to haul away that mulch will only be $200. Many people elect to keep the mulch to use elsewhere. If you would like to plant grass where the stump was, then the mulch should be removed. New mulch can deplete nitrogen in the soil and prevent new grass growth. It takes about 9 months for mulch to stop depleting nitrogen from soil.

“I can’t express how professional Chris is with Stump Erasers. After searching multiple avenues to remove a stump in my side yard. Chris offered a solution I couldn’t refuse,
he took the time to explain how the job would be completed but also stayed in contact when we had to reschedule. The overall look and removal exceeded all expectations after seeing other stump removals in the area. Absolutely will recommend him to all family friends. Thank you, Chris!” - Ryan M.

How are stumps measured for removal?

The correct way to measure is where the stump meets the grass line…not where the stump was cut. This is because cut height varies and stump removal involves removing most of the root sytem to make sure the stump doesn’t start sending up shoots again.

“Chris was very professional, friendly and very reasonably price. He did a thorough job of removing the stump and hauling away leftover branches. I highly recommend and will use again. Just a nice guy. Thanks Chris!” - Ken S.

Will my yard be damaged?

We use tracked equipment specifically to protect your lawn. If the ground is too wet, or muddy, we will wait until the ground becomes more firm to do the job. Stump grinding itself will cut about 8 inches under the surface. After the stump is gone, simply remove the mulch, add some topsoil, and you’ll be ready to plant.

“Stump Erasers did an awesome job removing the tree stump in our front yard. Very professional, the machine they use to get this job done is top notch, it thoroughly removes the stump, and the yard looks great when they get done removing the tree stump. I highly recommend Stump Erasers, they did a great job.” - Robert B.

What about clean-up?

We pride ourselves on proper clean-up. We have special equipment that can lift most of the mulch up and out of your grass so you don’t end up with a mess to replace that ugly stump. We will do our best to make it look like we were never even there.

Can you get in my backyard?

Our equipment can fit through most standard fence gates to access stumps in your backyard.

Why else should I get rid of stumps in my yard?

Stumps are unsightly, they lower property values, are a pain to work around, and can draw termites and other pests to your yard. They can also take up to 50 years to decay on their own.

Stump Erasers can get rid of those stumps quickly for you and help get your landscape to where you want it. You can call, text, or email us for a free estimate. Most estimates can be done over the phone simply by sending a picture of the stump with a ruler or tape measure by it. It really is that easy. If several stumps need to be removed, then a quick visit by us can make sure you get the best pricing.
